I AM LOOKING AT PURCHASING A USED 1991 EXPLORER BUT I HEARD A REMOUR ABOUT THEM.

IT CAM FROM A USED CAR SALES MAN WHO SAID "YOU WANT TO BUY A 1992 OR NEWER, NO A 1991", SO I KINDA BELIVE HIM BECAUSE THERE WAS A 1991 ON THE LOT AND NOTHING ELSE..

HE SAID THAT IN 1991 THEY WERE NICKNAMED "EXPLODER".

IF ANY BODY OUT THERE IN INTERNET LAND KNOWS WHY, PLEASE FELL FREE TO E-MAIL ME WITH YOUR SUGGESTIONS.?

1991 explorer

The only thing about the 91' is that it was the first production year. As far as I know there isn't a whole heck of a lot of difference between the 91-94 models.
