Thanks for the welcome guys, I have not picked the truck up yet but sure am looking forward to it. My plan at this time is to try and keep it original and make it mechanically as good as possible. I do like the idea of disc brakes and maybe power steering mods
I would post some however I do not see the "manage attachments" icon so not sure if I need more posts or what to post pictures as I just joined forum today

You can upload them to an album in your "user CP" at the top left of the page.....
Or upload to a photo site like photobucket, then copy and paste the IMG url
Or if you become a "supporter" ($20) you can post attachments....

Hey there Steve happy new year and welcome to FTE. Always good to see another 61-66 factory 4wd show up. Good luck with it and keep us posted on what you are doing with it. Both of my restorations are down in the projects forum.
Ok so its been two years since I posted/bought this truck (yeah I know I know) anyway just got started working on it past couple days and am ready to pull the engine so I have removed hood, radiator, carb, all hoses, wiring, fuel lines, motor mounts, driveline etc.... so can someone tell me if the engine will come out with transmission still mounted on it ? It looks like there's plenty of room but before I try thought maybe someone would know for sure
