I will say its nothing to worry about. let your truck warm up, drive it a while, let it idle for a little bit and shut it off when ever you go somewhere with it. its best to get it to full operating temperature on every run so if you are not doing that then this is where the milky oil comes from.

I experienced this with my gasser last winter. work is a 10 minute drive for me and the truck was only running for 15 minutes. in that time it doesn't even cycle my thermostat in this cold weather.

think of it like this, a hot plate of food you cannot finish gets wrapped up in that cling wrap stuff and put in the fridge. pull it out of the fridge 24 hours later and there will be lots of water droplets on the inside of the cling wrap plastic

I didnt think you could add any thing to the oil on the powerstrokes? So seafoam is safe for it then. Good to know. I have 2 cans sitting on the rack lol.

I have changed the oil on this truck 3 times since bringing her down to my house. Just trying to get all the crap out of her but have never added any thing to the oil.

I can't wrap my head around mixing water in the oil on these motors.Sea foam or otherwise . If the motor gets hot enough , it will remove the water on its own .. Thats one of the reasons they have a 203 to begin with ... The
fact that the covers are white means the condensation hasn't been there long ..

water doesn't boil till what... 212-213.

So you cannot theoretically burn off the water in the crank case unless it gets hotter than that.

I've seen water vapor in oil not burn off.
Sea foam fixed it.

And as you said in your last part, I agree.
You'll usually get something nastier looking if its actually oil saturated with water.

I've ran it, but only for 500 miles before an oil change.
I'd put it in right at an oil change on the gasser.

Oil temp is usually hotter than the water IIRC ...Its not regulated by a thermostat ...

Question. The temp gauge on the truck only goes up a little bit. Gets to the very start of the normal operating range.

Natural crude oil disperses in the water and comes out of the ground naturally.

The whole deal down there was just a get the public emotional over something that naturally occurs situation.

Granted, the amount was excessive, but it was not like the stuff that comes out of the ships for oil spills.

It's not an accurate reading by any means.
It will only let you know if something is terribly wrong.

Is this a 7.3? If so I've seen plenty needing injector tubes, cracked heads and so on. Water is mixed in with the oil like everyone has said. It is something to worry about. Pressure check the radiator to see if the system holds, it not go from there. If it does hold go with what everyone else has said.

I dont see any sign that oil is getting into the coolant or coolant getting into the oil. Oil is in fact clean after 500 miles.
