I slept in a little... since the college kids across the street decided last night/morning was a good time to have a party.
I am trying to figure out how I can covertly mess with them... Haven't found the right way to do it yet.
Last spring one of their invitees decided to partially block my driveway with their car. With the land barge of a truck I drive I need all the room I can get. I had to drive in my neighbors yard to et out. At 5:30 when I left for work I quietly removed the valve stems from two of their tires. Two flats is a real bitch. When my wife asked if I'd punctured their tires I correctly answered "nope"
Don, I can picture the drum set all set up and you whaling away like Animal from the Muppets. Drumsticks coated with grease from you working in the shop.

Morning Dave, Tiny! Oh, man, Tiny, I'd be all over that! I'm a master at screwing with neighbors!!
That sucks, neighbors that is......
That's why I don't have any.
Putting up with rude, inconsiderate neighbors is one of my peeves, so.....I will never do it again.
I showed the first picture to my wife and asked her where it was. Of course, she knew right off. I told her... "you know we could go up there and fish". She went right to... "doesn't the lake freeze over in the winter"?
I can tell she isn't buying my pleas for more fishing.

Wow, that was a lot of reading to get caught up.
Ya right. I'll just catch up as I go. So, I'm Jes. I live in Jefferson Oregon. I have owned SEVERAL Ford trucks over the years.
1969 2wd F250 long bed-390, 4spd, posi w/373 gears
1972 2wd F100 Custom-360, 4spd, open diff w/350's
1977.5 4wd F250 short bed,Crew Cab, -300/6, 4speed, 33's w/411's
1985 4wd F150 short bed-5.8HO, auto 4wd, 4" lift, 35's w/456's
1985 4wd Bronco-EFI 5.0 4speed, 4" lift, 33's w/411's
1986 4wd F250 XLT Lariat, long bed- 6.9L Dsl., auto,33's w/373's
My service truck is a 1986 F250 SRW-5.8, auto. Just did a complete brake system service with new wheel cylinders, pads and freshly turned drums. Calipers, pads, rotors and wheel bearings. Next is to refresh the engine with new bearings, rings and gaskets that actually hold the oil on the inside of the engine. Then a gear change to either 373's or 411's.
As an AG mechanic, I get to look in LOTS of barns. I just happen to come across a completely rust free, 99.6% original (different hub caps) 1962 unitbody with 98K original miles. I have not made an offer yet. But I WILL own this truck!
My desire for this truck is to make it a daily driver for my business. I park my service truck at customers farms for weeks at a time and drive my Dodge Cummins back and forth. I have wanted a early/mid 60's short bed Ford pu for EVER.
It does at least partially (west end for sure) freeze over. However, not now. Tell her now is an ideal, "best" time to be fishing up there. (Mid October).
Oh, and by the way, you can now ice fish on Dia. Lk. unless they had a last minute change I haven't looked for yet.
