HELP with Fuel/water separator plug

Well its stripped out. Im sure its happened to many but i dont really know how im gunna get it out. I already tried to JB weld a 6mm wrench in and no luck at all. I also tried to jam a 7mm and the size between and luck fittin it in. Im thinkin a torxbit might be able to get in there. Anyone had this problem? Any clue what to do? Thanks for any replys

Many have had this issue. I would have suggested the JB Weld.

Sadly, a lot of times it will take buying a new manifold cover for it.

drill bit and extractor if your lucky. if not new pump manifold

Just went thru this. Like you, nothing worked until I decided to really go at it. I took a drimmel and made a horizontal cut in the plug almost all the way accross. Next took a punch as close to the edge of the plug as I could get it in the groove I cut and started pounding with a hammer in a counter clock wise hit and spraying with some PB. It was a tough angle with the shaft right there. Kept at it and it finally broke loose. Don't know if it will work for you but worth a shot before replacing the entire thing.
