Economic exhaust work
Well I figure since I got a nasty muffler leak and rather high miles on that jumbo sized cat its about time to think about exhaust options. I have no intention of making it sound as mean as my old '96 Mustang GT with O/R x pipe and so on but I also don't mind at all a bit of a lound exhaust. Since I, ahem, only drive this offroad on private property and the stock y-pipe is a known and significant bottle neck perhaps chopping the down pipes and welding up some true duals into some Ultraflow mufflers would work well but does anybody know what diameter the downpipes are so I can gather up the necessary supplies? Or would I just be better off running one of the few y-pipe upgrades into a single 3in muffler?
