you can have a leaky oring on your ipr and not have codes.
being that there are no codes i would check cps next.
do you have signs showing you the injectors are firing?
how old are your batts?
no hard feelings and all that... but dood... popping off saying someone doesnt know these engines is a bit premature. without hard data... all any of us can do is make our best educated guess based on what we have experienced with these motors.
wether its throwing codes or no... your symptoms point to specific systems. we like to start with the least expensive suggestions and work from there.
i asked you to look for oil in the connector... not about codes... or the starting unplugged test fail.
again... cps would be the first part i would throw money at without getting a real scanner on it.
I would have to agree with Chris, checking for oil on the two sensors and changing the CPS are fairly inexpensive, and easy to do. My issue with my truck was an oily ICP which killed the engine running at 70 when I backed out of the go pedal. Sitting on the side of the highway for about 10 minutes before it fired over and started. Am I an expert, absolutely not. Have I had experience with the motor, absolutely. I can give a limited amount of advice and I gave it. My symptoms were very similar to yours and I posted my resolution. If it doesn't help your situation, I sincerely apologize for posting my experience and will be careful of what I post in the future.
