JFYI I paid cash for the truck also I have been a faithful Ford owner since I was 16 I am 41 now I have to say my OBS has been the best truck I ever owned but she is getting old now and is costing me more and more mo
ney. So after doing some homework and looking pretty dam hard I found this truck it is cherry and will walk circles around my OBS it is a Laramie and has the HO Cummins with Fass fuel system Bullydog powerpup programer AFE Intake AFE aftermarket turbo 5"exhaust Valair clutch Autometer gauges 4" lift brand new rims and tires new front end and much much more.
All trucks cost money to maintain. On another note is it stacked with stacks and what about the towing mirrors? Sorry had to go there. Good luck with the new truck. And lets see some pics. There is a dodge im our drive way to fwiw.

No stacks, 5"exhaust I would love to post some pics but better not I may get scalped lol
Uncle Jesse told me to spend $12,000 fixing up a new to me dually (16 years old) to pull my 5er. Did I steer myself wrong? Maybe, maybe not. A person has to do what he has to do. Good luck to you!
Oh that'll buff out... But actually, except for the rad support, it is pretty-much bolt-on repairs, no?
Yeah, it looks that way. We got the hood open and were looking at it. I just don't have the time or money right now to mess with it. It's going to have to wait until I get my Ford running again.
I would like to say goodbye and thank you to all the great people on this forum and thanks to FTE I have been a member for quit a few years but it is time to move on I recently moved to the dark side and purchased a 03 Dodge 3500 cummins with a 6 speed better suited to pull my new 5er.
I will miss all the great people and info here and will miss my OBS
Thank you FTE
Enjoy the new truck bud! You don't have to say good bye though, you can still hang out with us. I'd like to think we are above shunning some body for what truck they drive. Besides, you still have your PSD

I had been in the market for a new truck for a while and my price range was in the 6.0l bracket but I did not want one because they are junk and every 7.3 I could find had either too many miles or were more worn out than my OBS.

I just could not trust my 16 year old truck anymore especially pulling my 5er with my family after doing research the cummins is the most dependable out of all the newer diesels.
FYI William the Dodge cummins hold their value better than a powerstroke believe me I know I have been shopping for months now.
I respect your decision though. =)
It's your money, use it when you need it.
