I understand now,my 01 f-350 4x4 was 10,500. with 210,000.with few scrapes and bruises but still very presentable,it helped I new the owner & maint. quality throughout the years,that money seems high but if your picky with mileage,interior,exterior condition.you could spend 11k more than I did pretty fast if you start restoring interior & bodywork & paint,chassis maint.engine work, especially if you dont do all the work yourself.

Did not buy it new but.....

2000 F250 SD SC 4X4 7.3 Lariat auto ESOF tow and off road package 3.73 axles..... from the factory window sticker sold in Jan. 2000 in Cairo, Al....$37,835 plus all taxes and dealer add ons.

Motorbug's sticker was 42k. with 402k on the clock she still blue books at 14k area.
i got her for 10.
