Tailgate Opening
What is the width of the tailgate opening on a '64 styleside? Mine is 67 inches at the bottom and 67 1/2 inches at the top. 67 1/2 would fit the replacement tailgate from Dennis Carpenter which is 66 15/16. Is there any adjustments for bottom width of the tailgate opening? The bottom mounts appear to be welded to the bed.
What is the normal gap on each side of the tailgate?
