Help please!

I have a 95 f150 with a 5 speed, motor blew so I'm pulling it out, all the bolts are off the tranny and it has about a 1/2 inch gap between the bell housing and block, I can spin the tranny but it will not let loose, I've tried prying it apart but it will not give! Any ideas?

If you're sure you have all the bolts OUT. Did you unbolt the pressure plate bolts from the flywheel? That's the only way I will pull an engine while leaving the transmission in place. I'm assuming you can still turn the engine, otherwise you couldn't get the top pressure plate bolts out.

Two starter bolts
6 bellhousing bolts
2-3 lower block plate bolts (in front of bellhousing)

Seems to me you need to put more anger into removing the two.
