wet float setting needed

I posted this in the carb forum but i figured i would try here too. I have a 76' F-150 with a 360/4spd with duraspark II ignition. I just rebuilt the stock 2bbl carb w/ manual choke. I think i am having some float level issues and need the wet float setting(from top of carb to top of fuel). The rebuild instructions say "see service manual"!! Can anyone tell me what it needs to be at? thx in advance

I have never seen a wet float setting. Usually to set the float on non-holley carbs you set the float dry with the carb upside down.

As per my Chilton manual, for a '76, 2 bbl, Autolite Mod. 2150 tag# D5TE-ABA with manual choke, the wet setting is .81"..... Further specs are main jet # 47F and accelerator rod hole #4... This is the only carb. listed with a manual choke.... All others have a setting of 7/8"......Sorry I'm so late but I've been on the road.......
