I have a 2006 F150 2WD and Im having a issue with IDLE and Fuel Problems.
It idles to high when I intially start my truck and I have to keep my foot on the brake to put it in drive or reverse, I have service the transmission and someone told me it could be the mass air flow sensor.
I get bad fuel miliage and even on long trips, havent service the fuel system.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, thanks
It sounds to me like a vacuum leak. The more air that gets in the intake the more fuel it's going to need to maintain the A/F ratio. Ford did have a recall on a brake booster vacuum hose back in 08 or 09.
