Did anyone notice that you can't steer the thing? No room for the wheels to turn?

The tires have no weight on them.

The axles and body are on the ground.

This is someones joke pic

Basically you don't drive it when it's slammed that low. It's for "parking".

For a exercise in how to butcher a truck, I googled 'ford excursion lowrider' and chose images. I think I'm gonna cry. Here's a link:

I'm not against lowering a truck, several years ago I was lucky enough to go to the SEMA show and the coolest truck there was a F350 Diesel that had been lowered and turned into a race hauler. It had a custom harley in the bed, and towed a big long trailer with a couple cars in it.

These are not pictures of that truck, but a couple along the same lines.

Now I understand.

There is no frame under that thing. it is a set of fenders, front end and body sitting on the ground. They just slipped the wheels in for fun.

They drive 'em where I live. They take speed bumps sideways in the road blocking both the eastbound lane and westbound lane. Cars have to stop for them. When they turn into anything, they slow down to 1/10th of one mile per hour. Cars behind them are slamming on the brakes and trying to keep from hitting each other. Saw one of them hit in the rear one night and pushed 150 feet into a restaurant parking lot. Served him right, IMHO!

I like my little mirrors. I just wish they had power fold option. Like Nemo; I could flip my mirrors and get in the garage easier.
