351m carb

My question is, is it worth putting a 4 barrel on or should I keep the stock 2 on? Is there a noticeable difference in the performance.

Depends what you are wanting out of it. I run a 2b and I am totally satisfied with it, but I just cruise around town back and forth to work. High performance isn't really what I'm looking for.

I had an engine fire so I put a new edelbrock manifold and carb and it was a lot better. It was kinda pricey but I had to do something to fix the truck anyway. It was a noticable upgrade though.

2bbl will give you better low end performance but a 4bbl will give you better gas mpg's 'IF' you stay out of the secondaries, which I never seem to be able to do, most of my trucks have the 2bbl's and for what I use them for the 2bbl is good... although the 4bbl is better on the interstate, which I don't travel that much,...just a matter of preference and use of the truck?..
