quick question

does my 06 f 250 5.4 have an egr valve? if so where is it located?

Yes. I believe all gas engines after a certain MY have them. Not sure where.

That's what I thought too.

Until.....

I looked in the shop manual for the 2008 (because that is the year manual I currently have) and it said the diesels have an EGR, but for the gassers the only emission control is the PCV valve.

That was news to me. I wonder what year the gassers got rid of the EGR?

it must have been around 06. i have looked everywhere and cant seem to find one, unless it is hidden really well. thanks for the responses, just one less thing to have to worry about going bad i guess.
