Couldn't keep it to myself

Got a Christmas card from the wife today, surprise! The front reads "You are strong, dependable and long lasting" and there is a picture of a red pickup truck with a Christmas tree in the back. On the inside it reads "Good God, I'm in love with a truck" She used to say that we were both in love with the same man, I guess maybe that's still true. While we are on the subject of Christmas fun, I was shopping at a big-box store with 4 of my grand kids last Saturday and on the way out I mentioned that I could see the front door and that we should make our way toward it. The 9 year old said, with a straight, deadpan face, and I quote "At your age you should probably avoid walking toward the light" Little brat! I get no respect, maybe that's because I share a birthday with Rodney Dangerfield. Merry Christmas to everyone.

in my case they just make me feel old when i start telling them about what brats their parents were , and they ask how old i am too remember that ...............................
