Unfortunately I have TONS of experience flying all across this country. If you want any help, let me know. There are a few tricks that really do help to know. I logged about 80k in the air last year... hated every minute of it!
Wow. That's insane!!! I have never so much as stepped foot into an airport, just drove around the place for work to mess with their electric meters. It looks like insanity inside that joint.
Iv flown a couple times. Its not "too" bad as long as you don't have a 2 hour layover somewhere.... Heck even security isn't bad, especially when your wearing slip-on boots (slip em off, walk through the scanner, slip em back on)
Of course, Id rather drive. Im a road trip sorta guy lol. Theres no scenery in the air

It is kind of insane so if you end up taking a flight call me for the 411 before you head in there. If you are tall like me, you are going to hate flying. The seats totally suck for tall people. But there are a lot of characters in an airport and so it can be fun to just people-watch.
Im ready for next year already!! Should have a different set up next year that will include compound turbos and a more "built" engine. Not looking for all out power on the set up, just a quick spool with enough air for 700 with no nitrous. I did get my best time in the 1/8th so far with a 7.43@92mph, If i can keep around that time on fuel only i will be happy!

I suspect you'll have a strong cheering section next year too! The OBS turnout seems to be inspiring a bunch of other guys on here to commit to coming. We have to try and break the 14 trucks record we had this year.
Awesome!!! Id love to see that truck reach its full potential on the dyno as well! Did you get something to reinforce that boot near the turbo?
Also where did you get your traction bars? Or were they custom built?
Edit: YEAH we need to break the 20 barrier! Then Diesel World will REALLY have something to take a picture of! lol
Yeah not sure what was up with the dyno, the truck was spot on where it has always been with MPH, a little slow on track time but there was not any track prep. The boot does not have an issue with the pipe stuck in there to reinforce it so it has been fine.
I made the bars here at the shop, nothing special just boxed steel turned on edge with a couple heims on each end.
I love seeing all the OBS tucks there, more would be great!
Im honestly predicting 25-30 next year.
