Could someone tell me where to connect my new Recon cab lights to? I pulled the side piece off of the dash and looked for an empty plug but didn't see any. Is there one in there somewhere? If so what does it look like and what color wires do I use?
I ran my wiring down the passenger side pillar to the fuse box behind the kick panel at the passengers feet. I tapped into the running light fuse, this way they work along with the mirror lights.
Thank you but can I ask another question?...How do you connect to those mini fuses??? I was hoping that there was a plug in the dash somewhere that I could just splice a wire into it. I thought I saw somewhere where there was a plug on the drivers side that you could splice into? I don't mind using fuse #40 but how do you connect it to that small fuse???
If you want to connect to factory harness it is connector C-913 It is by e-brake assembly. way up there. it is grey. it has a tag on harness male harness 14A005 it is a 6 pin connector. 2 wires are missing on one side of connector, a BK-WH=ground, and a YE-GN hot for cab lights. I had wire pins so i put it as factory would be. you can just splice to those 2 wires and be done.
No. Look for the female harness. Then 15A404 tags on harness now its way up there. Pull it down then its easy to work with. Obtw what year truck. As this is for 2011 dont know if they changed numbers on 12 or 13.
I don't see it. My truck is a 2012. I had the side panel off too and I just don't see that number anywhere. Gonna have to figure something else out. It's 25 degrees here so I'm gonna quit for today. Just too damn cold to be doing this outside. Lol. Thank you for the help though!
