Green Light Off (for now)
-Wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas & happy Hollidays!!
-NO laptop yet, so by 12/30 when we get back I'll sure be experiancing FTE withdrawls.......
We had a GREAT Time - we just went about an hour and a half north up to Palm Coast, (Florida) just to get away from here for a while.....we've actually had kind of a bad year here in loosing my Brother-In-Law in June, loosing 3 of our beloved cats (2 in 1 week) and unfortunitly I am still unemployed, plus we are on the outs with Vicki's (my Wife) oldest Brother and Sister-In-law due to their "handling" of the loss of her middle Brother who fought Kidney cancer for 6 years-(NOTHING financial) and we just needed to get away from everything and everyone associated with family gatherings for at least this Christmas.
It was cold up in Palm Coast enough to fire up the heater in our camper most nights-it worked well as did everything else INCLUDING my FANTASTIC SuperDuty!!
I had been playing with rear tire pressures and went with 70psi for this trip, felt pretty good, but I'll try the full 80 next trip-I had replaced the "D" rated st22575R15 tires on the trailer with "E" rated the first week we had the brand new trailer here and it sure pulls much better!
The trailer is a 2012 Forest River Sierra 323FK at 35.9' coupler to rear bumper (bumper pull) and I'm running a weight distributing hitch and 2 friction anti-sway devices on it.
Had a little mishap about a mile from home when we stopped to eat-pulled into Walmart (to walk over to Sonny's) and when I started to pull out of the lot I turned too sharp (had a Cayak in the bed) with topper door bungeed down partially open and you guessed it the door hit the trailer and the glass shattered-
and scratched the fancy nose on the trailer
So........I'm gonna start a thread about the topper door replacement and look for a quality place to properly fix the deep scratches in the trailer's nose

2013 has somehow got to be better!!

Guess you'll see this when y'all get back.
