Good numbers to all my fellow FTE's. I have a bit of a problem which I hope one of y'all can help me solve.
The vehicle: 1981 Ford Bronco
I am in need of a schematic or a diagram or a drawing of the complete dash assembly for the above mentioned truck including but not limited to where all the screws go. Laugh Laugh! But seriously, I disassembled the entire dash and the underlying frame so as to ease a rewiring project I undertook several months ago. I have since completed said project and now wish to reassembly the dash back to it's original state i.e. all the components in their proper place, slot, hole, etc. I can't remember exactly how to put it back together. (The truth will set you free but it can be painful).
Can one of my fellow FTE's hook me up with a website or a gallery to view?
You can try here, but you'll probably end up heading to a junkyard with a camera. I did that when I rebuilt my truck, and I also went thru several panicked minutes as I tried to figure out which part of the dash frame was which. Eventually, I sorted it out, but looking at an assembled one is about the only way I know of.
Go to a Ford Dealer and be friends with a parts person. He can print out all the assemblies with screw locations and clip locations. I did this for a dash replacement with A/C.
