Hey you guys I've been around this forum site for sometime. I've never posted simply because someone else has already posted what i needed to know. Unfortunately I may be losing my touch or simply a bad day. I was wanting to know if you could fit 33x13.5x20 tires on a stock height 2005 F250? And where could i possibly get the stock suspension for my 05? Thanks for the help and sorry for the trouble.
It would depend on the offset of the wheels. If you had the 20" factory wheels, then you are actually going down in tire diameter but going wider. Factory 20" tires are 34.2 inches tall and about 11 inches wide. You will need new wheels for a 13.5" wide tire.
Oh I forgot, my brother had a '05 F350 regular cab and had 35x12.5 General Grabbers on his truck on stock 20" wheels and they fit with no problems. The tires were too wide for his stock wheels which led to his wandering issues.
I have aftermarket wheels currently with 37x13.5x20 but the ride is simply not what i like anymore. Especially after driving my dads powerstroke. I am wanting to keep the wheels tho and the width if possible.
Well thanks for that info. I currently have that problem so it wouldn't be to big of a deal for me then. My next question would be I guess any idea where I could find the stock suspension for one of these bad boys? ( mine came with the lift when i bought it)
Check shops that sell and install lift kits. They may have one running around, or they may know where to get one. You may have to go to ABQ for that.
Failing that, try a salvage yard. Just make sure that front-end damage wasn't the reason for the donor truck to be in the salvage yard; the headaches there won't be worth the effort.
I tried stuffing 325x60x20's (35x13x20) under there. THAT was a laugh.
One would need a sawzall to be able to turn more than half a turn of the wheel.
Needless to say, that didn't fly... They MIGHT have worked if I had chosen wheels that didn't have as much offset, but I wanted some tread outside the fenders. I might have gone a little TOO far... In wet weather, the spray makes the mirrors utterly useless.
Haha that sounds like something I would of tried to do. I have fender flares so i dont have to big of an issue when it comes down to wet weather. Unless I turn...... Wait I always have to make a turn so yea i have that problem haha. So if you have 33x13.5. right now then maybe i won't have any rubbing issues. I see you have that big ranch hand bumper on there.
