The 'Final' wheelbase post
I had to search around to get wheelbase info, so I thought I'd
just post it all in one location for all to see.
80-86 short bed regular cab > 117"
80-86 long bed regular cab >> 133"
80-86 short bed Ext cab >>> 138.5"
80-86 long bed Ext cab >>>> 155"
80-86 long bed crew cab >>> 168.4"
Got these from 2 sources:
Blue Oval website Ford Truck Wheelbases (covers wheelbases from 1959 to 1998 trucks.)
I also found this post 84 F150 Wheelbases on our site,
it's buried later in the post, but dmanlyr provides some good feedback.
If the moderators wish to remove this and post it in
'80-'86 Tech Tips, Tricks and Projects:
I have no reservations.

Just so you know, there are no 1980-1982 Crew cab trucks.
1980-1996: Regular Cab: Shortbed and Flareside: 116.8 / Rounded to 117"
1980-1996/97: Regular Cab: Longbed: 133"
1980-1996/97: Supercab: Shortbed: 138.8" / Rounded to 139"
1980-1996/97: Supercab: Longbed: 155"
1994-1997: Crewcab: Shortbed: 152.2" / Rounded to 152"
1983-1997: Crewcab: Longbed: 168.4" / Rounded to 168"
1980-1986: Chassis Cabs: 137" / 161"
1980-1996: Bronco: 104"
Some of Ford's literature rounds off the wheelbase to the nearest whole inch, while others does not. Why it might seem there are more wheelbases than there actually is.
By the way, 1994-1997 Crewcab shortbeds are 152.2" wheelbase rounded to 152" if anyone needs that info to build a 1983-1993 shortbed crew etc....
