Diff info

I need a break down and what vechicle this diff came out of.
WFG-A5 2KD
2L75 9 061a

I know it is a track loc 2.75:1 with a 9in Dif. Any and all help besides would be great. Like what it orginally came out of? Year, ect. Thanks

Well, can't help too much, but where are the spring perches? On top(like a truck), or below(like a car)?

It surely was long legged with those gears, and oddly has a TL in it?

WFG-A5 = 1973/74 Galaxie/LTD 9" 2.75-1 with large ball bearing 28 spline (right/left specific) axleshafts and Traction-Lok.

2KD = Assembled the 4th week (D) of October (K) 1972 (2).
