2010 shifting problem
When towing my rv, about 6500 lbs, my 2010 with 5.4 auto skips right through second gear. It shifts 1-2 but just touches second gear and goes right to third gear. It does this all the time while towing. It does this rarely when not towing. This has been since the truck was new. The dealer seems to blow me off on this by saying they need the truck for 3-5 days. The problem did seem to go away after one of the scheduled maintenance checks but shortly returned. Any ideas? Thanks...chris3

Hate to say it, but you may need to give the dealer the 3-5 days they say they need. Maybe another dealer can do it quicker? It sounds like the shifting software needs to be updated at the least, though I don't see this taking several days, or even hours.
