Need Options Fast Replace M5od
I have a 2002 F150 V8 (4.6L) 5 speed. I need to tow more than 3500 lbs, need 6000. I need to find a shop in the mid atlantic that can put a decent transmission in my truck. Please help here, I have the good 3.43 rear with LS. I know a stang tranny won't fit but I am sure there is a way to move the shifter foward.

I know that some Tremec 5 and 6 speed trannies(for Mustangs) have 3 different locations for shifters, front, middle, and back on the same tranny, so you would be able to use it for a variety of things.
