Sport tracks would be a great vehicle. My wife and i had one and loved it. I would suggest going for a 2005 or older because they came with the good ford 8.8 solid axle in the rear. 2005 and older were built using thr ranger chassis...think ranger supercrew.
I'll sell you mine. (NOT THE ONE IN MY SIGNATURE PICTURE) Fully loaded 2000 Ford Excursion Limited V10 with only 128k miles, 2wd, runs and drives great. Body is in good shape, Leather interior, New tires, New brakes, 2005 Chrome grill and 2005 Front Bumper. New ReFlex shocks about 100 miles ago.
These V10 Excursions are rated to tow 10,500lb. $6,900 or $6,500 with the 2000 grill and bumper on it
I went and test drove the Excursion, it's a big but manageable car. How difficult is a rearview camera install on it? That may be a deciding factor.
Search for. Backup camera - hard wired. I am on mobile and can't post my subscribed thread to it.
I bought the exact camera off ebay. And a gendex mirror off amazon for christmas. Can't wait to open my presents, along with ras and my red-head steering box! The camera goes in the black plastic that opens the liftglass...by drilling a hole.
Going to be busy in january!
