So, it seems to me that I am not getting much air out of the vents in my new truck.
I've had three previous OBS trucks and all of them blew much more air than this one does.
Its like it won't blow anymore air than just on low and #2 setting. Been reading about bad resistors and stuff, but the resistors would keep it from blowing on low and #2 and you should be fine on High.
Any other ideas on this? I get plenty of heat, just not enough air compared to my old trucks. Makes it a pain in the snow/ice out here as the windshield doesn't defrost fast at all. And, I am dreading the summer not being able to cool the cab with the A/C.
Do you still get all the distinct speeds (do they all sound different), but they all just suck?
Or does it go up to, say, 2, and from 2 on up it's the same?
If it's the former, I'd say it's the motor, or something (or someone ) foreign in the plenums. If it's the latter, that suggests the resistor pack or the switch.
