Thanks Guys. I had to take it in for the last few things to be installed so I have my F150 again for a few days... Long wait until Wednesday when I can pick it up for good. Best Christmas gift I ever bought myself.
Yes they are Duratracs, in stock 275/70/R18 size. I'm glad they look a little oversized as I think the stock michelens look a little small on these trucks. I would have run a bigger tire if they made one (I wanted 285/75/R18), but they don't. I really liked those wheels so I stuck with 18's over the 20's. Also, I'm not a huge fan of chrome so I opted for the lariat base plastic running boards. My primed grille surround is on back order, but once it's in I'll change out the chrome surround with a red one. That should make a big difference.
I'll leave them chrome...at least for now. All the upgrades and options at once has left a good size hole in my wallet. I just want to do the grille surround soon to break it up. I was going to order the Platinum center bars as well for the pattern on them, but they have a matte finish and are nearly $500/bar...so that's a no go.
Hey Savage, where did you order your Surround from thats on Back order? Ive been looking to do that also, just cant find them anywhere online. When you get here back, tell us how those tires feel. Been looking at those too.
The tires are stock size, 275/70r18. The surround is on back order from my dealer... Hope it's here soon. I've run the duratracs on my F150 and they were great, that's why I put them on this one too. They are great in snow.
