E = Engine Engineering; Powertrain and Chassis product Engineering
6015 = 302 service (replacement) engine block
A3A = engineering revisions
7 = year
E = month = May
18 = day
So... it looks like you have an engine from a 1970s Lincoln Continental, block was cast on May 18, 1977 (this is a service block, the Production block apparently was already being produced for the 1978 models).
