Hello everybody! Now is finally time to get my own F250 and I think that I bought that from USA, because here in Finland those are much much more expensive and also only few in the market. But when you bought used car outside from EU (european union), here are some very stupid laws for that. One is that if cargo box length is more than 50% wheelbase then you have to pay 22% customs for totally costs before Finland. Car price, papers, harbour costs, shipping etc... But if not, then you have to pay only 10%. I hope You understand what I mean.
I like to know is there that kind of compinations where cargo box length is NOT more than 50% wheelbase. But model should be 2003-08 4WD 6.0L diesel.
More stupid laws... you have to change front/back lights, because there should be E mark on to light. E is car lights standard for EU cars. Yes, I know, this is totally stupid but I bought my own F250 anyway. I have allready one Ford, V8 Mustang so no one can't stop me know.
Thank You!
i don't think there are any combinations in which the box length is less than 50% of the wheel base.
a short box (6.75 ft) would require a wheel base greater than 162 inches. Even with the crew cab (longest available cab combination), the wheel base is 156 inches for the short box.
yes and thank you for quick answer. a little earlier I find 05 models specs and notice that same thing. so I have to pay 22% custom when I bought the car. no can do. but this is only some extra costs what i have to add my calculations. still, locals some few cars here in Finland are much more expensive.
