92 F250 headlights
So I have had to start driving my 92 F250 for a daily driver while the insurance company drags its butt.
My headlights were pretty hazed over so I cleaned them, started with 220, then 400, then 600 then 800 sand paper, and just for good measure I used some 000 steel wool before using some polishing compound on them. They came out pretty good, and this was all stuff I had laying around so it didn't cost me anything.
They are also way out of alignment.
The Haynes manual says the little rod sticking up is for side to side adjustment and there is supposed to be a screw to adjust up and down.
Is this up and down screw for previous years as I can not see it? or am I just missing seeing where it is at.
How do you adjust the up and down of the headlights?
And if any knows the name of the Ford Engineer that devised the mounting system for the lights, he should probably go into hiding.
Thanks for any help any one can advise me on this
Matt
