I have a 1986 F150 I got with no engine. I have an engine from a 1990 (both trucks are 302). Is the wiring fairly straightforward to swap? I don't know what your intentions are for this truck, and how much experience you have in automotive mechanics, but you could put a carb on it if you had to, though you would have to do something with the fuel system also, since it has high pressure electric pumps for the fuel injection.
