Where to begin?

I may, or may not have had to jump a curb at 40 mph to avoid rear ending another car. Truck is a 2003 F-150, single cab stx package, 4.2ltr. Long story short, no damage to my passenger side front tire or rim that I can see, but I do have a horrible grinding noise when I turn the wheel either direction. The truck still turns properly, power steering fluid is level. What should I start replacing first?! She's got about 90k miles on it, I'm sure a lot of the suspension parts are due, just need to know where to start!

First off, it's important that you nail down whether you jumped the curb or not....LOL!!! Living this fantasy life is not healthy for you. Your grinding might be coming from a bent rim rubbing on the outer tie rod end. Get that front end up on stands placed on the lower a-arm. Turn the wheel extremely left. Spin the wheel. Find out where it's grinding. Repeat to the right. Here's what I would do. Look on ebay. They have complete front end rebuild kits including complete a-arms with new ball joints and tie rod ends. These kits are very reasonably priced. This will ease your worries about tweaked parts.

Good call. I'm pretty sure a lot of that stuff needs to be replaced due to age/mileage anyway. Gotta balance out what I can spend on this DD and the 83 rebuild I've got going on as well. Time to get the truck in the air! And yes, we made it fully up the curb and into the side walk, thankfully, no joggers were injured while saving the front of this truck and the rear end of the Lexus suv...

Here is the type of kit I'm talking about. Very reasonably priced.
