Shocks

97 250 4" skyjacker - Insalled a couple of months ago and the ride is just to bouncy. I put on the skyjacker m95 $75ea. Maybe I should take them off and check them. Any one have a definitive shock recommendation. Just want a ride that dosnt bounce. Guess I can try bilstiens (again) but I've had mix result with them to
Is there any that most would say "these are the best"

I would say Bilsteins, unless you want to pony up and buy some true performance shocks from Fox, Sway-a-way etc.

What would tire psi do to the ride. I put the lift on and went straight to to tire shop and had the put on 35" nitto trail grapplers. Haven't even thought about pressure untill now. I think they have min-45 and max-60 psi rating

Higher tire pressure will make it a little rougher of a ride. lower pressure can have a little more of a bounce. thats my experience anyways.

A shocks job is to control suspension bounce. Make sure all shock attachments are tight. I would guess the bounce is from the tires.

I like Rancho shocks. They are pretty good and help out the ride a little over stock. Rancho shocks are made by Monroe so they are very good quality too.
