Any difference in stock wheels' backspacing or widths?
Hey there. In looking around, I've been wondering if there's any differences between the 15" wheels that come on 1990's F-150's - like from the 4x2's, 4x4's, aluminum or steel? It looks like they were all the same, but with the center caps changed for the fronts of the 4x4's, but then looks can be deceiving.

I don't believe the center caps are different. I took my rims from my old 4x2 and put them on the 4x4 with the same caps. It's actually an insert glued in, that you can punch out to make it a 4x4 center cap. Otherwise, I believe they are the same size.

A few of them came with 15x6 E-150 style rims with hubcaps, but I think these were all fleet order trucks like mine that came from the phone company. I bought a set of XL-style 15x7's and converted the 4x2 centers to 4x4 with a small chisel.
