400 mods and H.P. estimates
In my bronc I have a 400 with an edelbrock carb a edelbrock 4barrell a excell coil duel exhaust and glasspacks.
It is rolling on 35s and 3.55 gears and an auto tranny.
This engine will scratch the 35s a little but other than that it is gutless as all hell. What I am wondering is how much H.P. and torq will I gain if I install the fallowing. (it is a 1979 400)
full roller timing chain and k into roller rockers.
Other than these two I am not sure what to do with out tearing into the engine witch I dont want to do.
Thanks travis

If you install a full roller chain and roller rockers you may see 180 hp and maybe some noticable torque. You can also install a set of headers and should get a little more power, my see 200hp, a tad more if you have a 4V intake.
If the engine is in need of rebuilding you won't be able to make many performance gains.
