sid etrim for 63 100 wrong bed
Thanks for sharing the info..but I am a bit ..confused ....I have 1963 f100 flareside project I just have started , but have very little trim and no mirrors.. I tried reading through this thread and other Cowl trim thread but my head is buzzing..
I think , the one thing I got from this is that my trim is hardest to find..shocker...
but I am confused about wrong side bed versus flareside.. Is considered wrong side as well ?Do I also need a corner molding for my 1963 f100 ? sorry for my ignorance..Just got the f100 and am trying to learn
Does anyone have the dims of the whole trim from cowl/fender/, door' panel for. 1963 f100 flareside that hey can share with me ? i know this has been covered but in case a new ache has Ben found does anyone have these trim pcs still ? Also looking for mirrors !
Thanks,
D
All outside mirrors were optional. See post 22 in "Side Mirror" sticky on first page of this forum for several different examples.
Not shown: The only outside mirror that's reproduced is chrome with a 5" round mirror head that fits into the door slots once the rubber plugs are removed.
AFAIK, Flaresides (wood bed floor) did not come with body side mouldings. No bed mouldings available for Flaresides, the reason why I think they didn't come with them.
I've never seen a 1963/64 (or 1965/79) Flareside with side mouldings and I've seen 100's, many when brand new.
1963/64 F100/250 Custom Cabs: The hood (2 pieces per side: long in front of emblem and very short behind emblem), cowl panel and door mouldings are the same.
There are two different cab corner mouldings, 1963/64's with "wrong beds" use different mouldings than 1964 with ''right" beds.
These mouldings are anodized aluminum with their center line painted red. None are reproduced.
1957/60 Styleside beds installed on some 1961/66's. Are called "wrong beds" because the bed lines do not match up to the cab lines.
