Will a 2013 superduty bed fit in a 2002? My buddies 2002 F350 reg cab 8ft bed is rotted out and has a chance to buy a 2013 take off bed for 700 bucks. It looks the same to me except for around the wheel wells.

 

Not sure if anything's changed on the '13's, but previous years did (which is a good indication it will fit). There's a pic in this thread of an '11 bed on a 2000 truck.

I just got through putting an '11 bed on stepdads '02 The filler neck flange needs to be re-drilled as the holes are "clocked" differently and the bumpers and hitches must remain paired. You cant use the new bumper and the old hitch, for example. You'll also have to do some splicing as the wiring plugs have changed. I'll go look tomorrow to refresh my memory as to which plugs changed. I THINK the trailer tow plugs were the same, but the tail light harness was different.
