carpet fitment

Will the molded carpet from the 1973-79 standard cabs fit in the 1967-72 standard cabs. The reason I am needing to know is I have a 1969 and want to put the Cut Pile carpet in it not the loop pile. It is only offered for the 73-79 years. Looks like it should fit since the floor pans are suppose to be the same. Please let me know if it will work for sure if you know or have done it. Thanks for any help.

I think you can buy the cut pile carpet for a 67-72 through MAC'S. I think they offer both kinds.

I talked to Macs today and the guy I talked to said no,but of coarse he probably don't know. I ask him if the 73-79 carpet would fit then,and he said I would not think so see as it is a different body style truck. I told him that the floor pans was the same for the 67-79 trucks and he tried to argue with me that they was not and I told him to look at part #s for both trucks and he said he didn't get paid to compare part #s. I said I know you want get paid with any of my money either because there are plenty of other ford truck vendors besides Macs. Needless to say he hung up before I could tell him where to stick the carpet and part#s. Wish I had gotten his name at first and I sure would let someone over him know how rude he was and he causes customers to go else where to buy parts.

Thanks for that link. They offer the cut pile for the 67-72 so I will just order from them. Has anyone used this carpet? How is the fit and quality? any problems with it? Thanks for the help guys.
