Recommendations
I have a 1950 F-1 that I would like to make a daily driver. Needs engine, paint, interior. Would like power steering and power brakes. Any recommendations on shops in the Pasadena, California area that do this type of work.

The most honest answer for you is this; Unless you have unlimited resources ($$), know exactly what you want and have a team of lawyers to draw up an ironclad contract with the shop, you are probably better off selling what you have and buying a finished truck. There are far too many horror stories out about guys who bought a 'project' and then paid a 'shop' to do all the work.

I took my truck to a shop. The truck wasn't finished when promised and, since the rate was hourly, the costs kept climbing. I finally pulled the project out of the shop and will finish it myself. If I had to do it over again, I'd dismantle the truck myself, shop out the things I couldn't (or didn't want to) do myself, then re-assemble it myself. Then you know the people doing the work are experts at what they do, not a jack-of-all-trades who figures things out as he goes. You need space and time to do it. Skills can be picked up, help is available here, and it doesn't hurt to have some friends who like to work on old trucks. Should be able to find some of them in the LA area, go to some clubs and shows. Best to you.

If you plan on using a Restoration shop or any other shop. Check References, and the BBB.
The shop will give you their good jobs and the BBB will give you the screw ups and how they were handled. plan on 10,000 to 15,000 grand for everything listed. On the low end.
