How many miles this year?

So the end of the year is almost here and I looked back at my records to see how many miles I've driven the Excursion. I had an entry on Jan 8 at 197k miles and I'm just over 201k right now. Right at 4,000 miles total.

Better than that is since we moved down here in June, we've only put about 1,500 miles on it. Wife has a Town & Country Limited that is actually MUCH nicer to drive in and she doesn't really even like driving the Excursion. (Says it's too big.) I have a company truck that I get to drive home and it even comes with its own fuel card.

At our current rate, I expect to put only about 3,000 miles on it next year. Probably not even that many.

So let's hear how many some of you have done this year.

YTD 3415.3. Depending on if I have to move it out of the garage at all in the next couple weeks, it may go up a tenth.

close to 10k a year, same with my Expedition. over the last two years combined i've driven 40k on both trucks.

December 11th 2011 i had 112,826 miles.

as of December 7th 2012 i have 122,295 miles.

i seem to be driving less within the last 3-5 months...not sure why. this summer did include about 2,300 miles of road trips around the state.

i'm just miles away from having put 20,000 miles on the excursion since getting it 10/30/10 in that time i have spent $8,278.35 on fuel alone.

I didn't check but I believe I put on around 3500ish miles this year which is allot for me. Mainly because of a trip my brother and I took to WV to pick up a truck for our Dad and a crap load of container boxes.

My brother sent me the only pic he had on his phone of the trip, here we are at the container place and just got done loading the box of the truck with containers. The back of the X was full from the back of the front seats and to the ceiling with container boxes. Somewhere around 1600# in just the X. It was a great trip and the 7.3 never missed a beat. Wish he would have got the X in the pic.

I'm at about 14k miles this year. Definitely more than I had planned, but I've had a fair share of local business, and get paid mileage. After years of getting on an airplane every week, I'd rather jump in the truck and drive 200 miles to Miami instead of fly. And the miles will just go up...she's headed to Delaware next week for Christmas...1100 miles each way.

We have a yearly vehicle inspection in Virginia. The receipt has the current mileage on it when the

service is performed. Between Sept 2011 and Sept 2012 I traveled a grand total of 213 miles.

My annual mileage to and from work is about 15,000 mi. I have three vehicles to drive to work, and I bought this Excursion just to tow figured about 5,000 mi max /yr. Don't have anything to tow either

Dec 10, 2011, bought the 04 Excursion Eddie Bauer 6.0L PSD with 126,968.7 mi on the meter. As of Dec 5, 2012 it has 141,491.2 on the meter. That's 14,522.5 miles a year, same as I drive it to work every day. Total diesel cost was $3,750.15. No I don't keep all the receipt, but I keep track of every fill up, oil change, and all/most of the parts I bought to fix/up grade this diesel truck in a spreadsheet

Miles from 10 Dec 11 to 5 Dec 12: 14,491.2 miles
Average mile per gallon: 16.14 mpg
Total cost: $3,750.2, 921.69 gallons

Is this 10.81 mpg mostly around town or mostly freeway?
