also took engine out of a wrecked truck i just unplugged the main engine harness and left everything on the donor engine....so the problem has not moved with the engine swap....

i replace the engine with one out of a wrecked truck ... i just unplugged the main engine harness and left everything on the engine..nothing was used from the old engine

Check vacuum lines. I had a similar situation in a Ford Fairmont and it was a tiny pebble in one of the vacuum lines blocking it.

Sounds to me like it won't downshift after it warms up. Have you tried pulling the shifter down to 1st?

yes it don't matter what gear you have the selector lever in it acts just the same although i haven't noticed it acting up in reverse.. that's not to say it don't i just haven't noticed it

changed the computer out as well when i changed the engine out

it kinda acts like your brake torquing it if that makes any sense and no the brakes arent sticking...and when it does take off its in first

how do you know its in 1st for sure, from your discription it sounds like its taking off in 2nd. Check linkage from colum to trans. ?
mystery - so when you get going you can shift from 1st through all the gears? what speed and rpms can you get taking of in 1st

well truth be know i dont really know but i do know once it does go it shifts through all gears and you can put it in 1st and it will do the same thing.......now what are the possibility that a wiring problem could be causeing it because the computer wont communicate with my scanner even after changing the computer so that points me to maybe a broken wire between the pcm and the eec connector or at least thats my thinking anyway

10 degrees and no pinging the only thing it does when acting up is pop through intake
