"new" Ford Expedition
I just purchased a new-to-me Expedition EL...2007 model. The lady that owned it before me had an electric wheelchair lift put in the back. They apparently bolt the lift to the frame and remove the carpet, plastic molding, flooring completely. Its just down to the frame/metal.
I have a peice of plywood and a large mat covering it now, but I would like to go back with something a little more factory...or aftermarket, doesn't matter..but that gives a good flush, stable back floorboard.
Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance!

I think we need pictures......
I was at a junkyard today looking for Explorer parts.
There were many Expeditions there, cutting the floor out of a junker
could be an option.
I would frame out the section with steel angle and make a sheetmetal
storage area, keeping the plywood as the cover/floor.
It should also be easy to find replacement carpet and trim pieces anywhere.
