Leather handle is better for skinning, not so slippery. Either way, I can help you with it.
I still have some tool steel left, maybe I should draw out some blanks before I sell the machine shop
I definately know how to make a sharp knife
Today I go to Doctor appointment to see where I stand. I may start the building/ moving process even if not completely healed, I'm not getting any younger
The problem with the hand to hoof battle video, I'll be wincing in pain every time you get whacked, so my eyes may be stuck shut, lol

Charlie and I spoke about knives. Man that guy knows his stuff. Always cool to share ideas and such.

Just kidding. Im sure everyone is busy starting off the new year. I know we have been going non stop since thanksgiving. No rest for the weary.
If I get on the river tomorrow ill try and take some photos to share.

Crazy weather. 75 on Wednesday. Snow on friday.
Don't like the weather here in north carolina? Just wait ten minutes and it'll change.
As usual we are super busy. But doing well. Going duck hunting tomorrow. Looking forward to just being out in the woods. Bagging ducks is a bonus.
Maybe this spring we can have a wildgame cookout. I can bring deer, duck and squirrel. Who can bring the rabbit? Maybe have it after dove season and we'll add them to the menu. When it gets closer ill make a post on the dinner thread so everyone can ignore it.

Good place to see!!! They have it all here. Beaches, ocean, seafood, then flat lands, and farms, top it off with mountains, and Back country.
A slower pace of life than I'm used too, it's like stepping back 20 years!!

I have to get the fields mowed by April, then I'll grade where the house and building go. I may put the building up first, and put a small living space in it, so I can start moving by June.
I'm also looking at a house about 10 mins from my property, 2 acres, garage, pool, and 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, for $44,000
If I can get it for around $35000 , I'll start moving in April, then build the property, and rent the house out after I'm finished the property

Yeah. I have a lot of "treasures " to move, and will have a lot of time where both properties will be un attended.
I have everyone here "trained" so I'm not worried about it, but the NC property is way out in the sticks
