I'm in the country here believe it or not. It's just BUSY. Got real busy in the last 5 years. I live 45 mins from DC, 30 mins south of Baltimore, and 10 mins from Annapolis
If you want a cool vacation of where our roots in this country are, I can take you. There's lots of cool stuff to do here in Md, but like I said, getting way too busy

If you can stand the crowds, this would make a great vacation. Go see the constitution, and the declaration of independence. It will put cold chills up and down your spine to see it in person.
I can spend days at the Smithsonian. Stand there, and look at the capital building on one end, Washington monument on the other.
Annapolis has rich history, some buildings are from the 1600's. And the Navel Academy is awesome. You can go to the ocean, or the mountains.
We have several civil war battlefields here, one of them, Antietam had some of the bloodiest battles in the war
We also have American revolution sites like Fort Mchenry.
The war of 1812 was fought right here in our harbor, Francis Scott Key was on a ship as a lawyer, trying to get American prisoners off he ships. That's where the national anthem came from.
I could go on and on, but that's a small idea of the place

What a mighty fine weekend. Even though the dang ducks didn't cooperate we had a great time. Hunted three seperate locations. Two deep in a creek and one out on the river at an island. The weather had the ducks all crossed up. And we couldn't get on em. Saw a plenty. Decoys and calls wouldn't coax em close enough. I know some folks got on a few and must have been in the right place at the right time. One more weekend and the season is over.
Hope everyone has a good week.

Probably already knows this but;
Try bbb shot in a 3 1/2" shell with an improved cylinder choke. I like Fasteel for fowl. It's some good sheet.
That three and a half carries more load and gets it out there further for them gooses.
# 4 in a 3" works fine for most ducks.
Hope he gets it worked out and starts to slay some gooses.

The train is chugging right along here. Hope you're doing well.
Was at a zoo this weekend. I didn't know flamingos made such a racket. You see them on tv all peaceful and dipping their bills in the water to feed. Nope. Loud. Fiesty. Not so peaceful. Maybe they're pissed because they're in a zoo. They were cool looking though and we saw all kinds of critters. It was a nice visit.
