TOW MIRRORS
Hey guys,
I have an Excursion with tow mirrors. All of a sudden the passenger tow mirror just stopped moving. I can hear the motor but the glass itself doesnt move. Has any of you guys experienced this before? I was searching and most of the results came up as showing the actual glass being broken. Not about the motor or something related to what I have. Thanks guys!

Well, if you can hear the motor, then it must be an issue with the gearing. Does the mirror move when pushed on one side or another? These mirrors can move by hand and sound like a ratchet mechanism and the motor may start moving it again.

Yes you can move them by hand and pretty loose at that... it seems like nothing is connected in the back when i move it. The motor sounds normal but not moving the mirror
