87 Ranger 2.3 Timing Dada Needed
HELP! I need to set the ignition timing on my 87 Ranger 2.3 engine. Both my shop manuals refer to the emissions decal under the hood for timing settings. Only one problem---NO DECAL. Someone out there that has the dacal intact, please post the timing spec. This is the 49-state vehicle.

SPECIFICATION 10 DEGREES BEFORE TOP DEAD CENTER
*Base Timing Specifications *Set at warm idle speed (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED - NOT ADJUSTABLE) *Disconnect Single Wire Spout Connector (YELLOW/LIGHT GREEN) or Remove Shorting Bar On Double Wire Spout Connector at Ignition Module (TERMINAL #5) *All Accessories off *Transmission in Netural
