Explorer parts source?
I am planning to start some much needed repair work
On my sons 1997 Explorer Sport.
1. I need a source, other than going to a junkyard, for door sill corners,
Towards rear of truck.
2. Evap. Pan/bracket/shelf (is there a plastic replacement for the
Steel one).
3. Spare tire cable and assembly.

to get away from shipping amazon carries some stuff once u know the part number and it may have free shipping option. free shipping is just as fast as std with them

I did use Amazon for parts on our 2000 Explorer, but these were more
Common parts.
I don't know if James Duff or National Parts Depot has parts.
Looks like some computer time is in my future.

that would be your best bet. if you cant find them online anywhere then take a bottle of ky with to the dealer. the one vacuum line i just replaced, they wanted 130, i got the tubing at advance for a few bucks and the fitting at junk yard. total with everything that i got (fog light n other extras) was only $22. ford should post a warning on prices or atleast provide lube
