i need to get it running first. it has sat for a few years so new gas and all that. i plan to fix it up and use it as a daily driver for work if that is possible. i think it is, i see a few old trucks that still get used like trucks should be. just need to figure out what i have exactly first then start in on the clean up.

thanks for the info. that means that is not a true dually axel under it then. it looks like 1 normal rim with 1 really deep dually rim on the outside. do you know what the front axel would be in this truck? and what transfer case?

Your truck is an F250 which means single wheel rear axle. As for the front axle, I don't know. Ford rarely ever put front drive axle info on the warranty plate.
If I had to guess. Probably a D44 front and a np205 transfer case. Take a 1/2 and a 9/16 wrench out and check your diff cover bolts. D44= 1/2, D60=9/16. Tell us your transfer case shift pattern if you want to confirm your transfer case.
That's a nice truck. I've always wondered we're those warranty plates are, are they on the drivers door? I've never had a truck with one until I got my 77 and I think my 73 parts truck has one. Both my 90s, the 76 and 83 lacked it.
